Jim Adkisson took his conservative beliefs to the max by entering a church in Tennessee and opening fire.

I am arguing that conservative rhetoric exhorts its consumers to violence and that liberal rhetoric doesn't.

Right wing talk radio is successful because their hosts are extremely knowledgeable and actually deal with political facts instead of attacking just for the sake of attacking.

>>With out nation facing the most expensive pork-filled boondoggle in history, I haven't heard much "criticism" from CNN or MSNBC...but then maybe their voices were a bit muffled by having their noses so far up Barry's @s$.

Each of us has an opinion and you're certainly entitled to yours.

But consider this: Investigators knew of the wording of Adkisson's "explanation" shortly after his arrest, even though a copy of the actual note was only made available to the public within the last several days. They had whatever was evident within his house of his reading, listening and viewing habits; and must have specifically noted the similarities between wording in Adkisson's note and the wording/titles of certain books in his possession. That they did not comment on other possessions or patterns, presumably means that they saw no evidence of great influence by other forces.

Adkisson himself made clear that his anger was at a specific party and a specific ideology. How handy a whipping boy and how clearly that whipping boy has been painted by the "authors" of the books Adkisson read! Kinda like pouring gasoline on a smoldering fire. But those godless conscienceless media brownshirts continue to pander to bigots, feed hate, and make money hand over fist. Their role in the killings might not be direct, but it does not exonerate them from responsibility.

Edited to insert a clarifying prepositional phrase; and to reword a sentence for greater accuracy.

Well, MY motivation was to discuss hate speech and its influence on unstable minds. I may have misinterpreted your meaning from your first single sentence....but it's becoming clearer to me, that you ARE actually blaming the victims.

>>> The very antithesis of "calls to violence" as we've already been provided coming from main stream right wing political commentators.
