Laws for equality are good laws.
Soon, the law of the USA will include equality for it's gay citizens as well.

Many states folowed the example of banning interracial marriages too.
The supreme court took care of that, and they'll ultimately do what's right here.

Doubtful. In order for the USSC to federally legalize gay marriage, they would have to invalidate the state constitution of California (for one). Not likely.
