What benefit do you see in debate with people who are simply "wasting their breath" because you already know the "truth'?

Oh wait!...what was that you just posted? "Blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity"? Was that the same "liberty" that "our Founding Fathers" said was "endowed by our creator"? Or did someone come by an just "redefine" it when we weren't looking? LOL!

>>> Men claiming to be inspired by god ensouraged slavery too.

God doesn't seem to be too concerned with slavery.

>>> And wasn't the inquisition a result of men inspired bu god? i believe Westboro baptist is a group of men (and women) inspired by god.

I think a lot of charities and lives were saved through inspiration by God...and we've seen a lot of violence and hate spewed by gays and their supporters recently that wasn't really inspired by God. Maybe those hateful people should look to God for a little inspiration.

>>> I'll stick with secular law, thanks.

Secular laws prohibit gay marriage. Let's stick with secular law, thanks.

See the liberal smackdown above. LOL! Nevermind, it was so much fun I think I'll just do it again. The preamble of the Constitution specifically refers to "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." Hmmm..."liberty"...now I know I've heard our Founding Fathers mention that before. Oh, darn! Where was that now? Oh, wait! That's right...they put it in our Declaration of Independence as a "right" guaranteed by the government...oh, wait...that's not right...it wasn't the state that "endowed" that right...now who was it again...hmmm...Oh, right, I remember...GOD.

>>> It doesn't matter. The courts favor equality. USSC decided before, and will do so again.

Close decision...and the justices didn't have to overturn a state constitution, or the people's legal right to amend it. Methinks they might not be less inclined to take that step.

>>> The "majority" wasn't convinced then. But they lived. Life went on, as it will again.

Smells like May 15, 2008...until November 4, 2008, that is.
