If there were unable to be taken away by the state the state could not either incarcerate or execute anyone.

I haven't been following this particular point of the debate all that closely but I was wondering, what does the divorce rate amongst gays have to do with whether or not gay marriage should be allowed? Hetero couples divorce all the time. What's the difference?
