Why "fix" anything?
Civil unions are not equal, marrige is equal.
The Iowa Supreme court got it right.
Sadly, even the marriages that will start soon in Iowa will not be equal yet either. We'll have to wait until the USSC does it's job.

Nah...supporters of equality would be seeking...er...equality...which can be found in civil unions. What the militants want is social sanction and "respect"...and don't mind shoving their agenda down the throats of society and others who might otherwise support them.
