So conservatives would have been "supportive" if Obama had a pregnant teenage daughter? I'm not so sure about that. I think if the roles had been reversed and it was the democrat candidate with a pregnant teenager rather than a republican candidate, the comments from conservatives would have been much harsher and not nearly so "supportive". Also, I'd be interested to know how you specifically define "support" and "endorse" when they're applied to single motherhood.
"I'll use any excuse "
I see.
>>> Do you also have issue with working fathers?
No
Yet you do working mothers. Interesting.

I disagree. Conservatives are much less likely to cast aspersions on such situations than liberals are...as evidenced by the crapfest heaped on the Palin's by the left...and who continue to with their horrible attacks on Briston Palin. Liberals can be quite despicable. Unless there were indications that the Obama's were "bad parents," it's most likely that conservatives would have been "as supportive" of their situation as they were with Palin's.

"Support", would be for the individual in that circumstance...emotionally, spiritually and also by way of social programs to help her.
"Endorsing" is done by articles, movies, television programs, comments by celebrities/politicians etc that promote single-motherhood as a socially acceptable "alternative" to marriage.

One would have thought the intent was obvious...but I'll clarify...
It's best if ONE parent were home to raise the children, either the mother or the father...but, based on my personal experience, I think it's best if it were the woman.
