~For anyone that is unaware the Morman church put out a position statement on this issue. The Mormon church supports state unions for gays (similar to what our president Barry does) and full equality/rights/protections for gays in all other aspects~


Do you have a link to this statement?


In the meantime, I'm wondering why, then, Bishop Chris Church of Illinois sent out an email instructing

Since the Church sponsors it's own daycares, it obviously isn't anti-daycare. It does, however, support the "traditional family" and supports a parent's decision to do what is best for a child (which would be raising them at home). So while there is no official position on working mothers from the Church, it seems "likely" to me...no stats...that religious parents would choose to raise their own children in the home if that is a viable option.
