Ah, sure...without Reaganomics the tech boom never would have happened, right? The Bush tax cuts didn't exactly prevent the tech bubble from bursting now, did they?

Notice how the liberal replies, as usual, are misdirection attacks that are completely off topic.

When are one of you liberals going to step up and defend what Obama is doing? Please, step right up and tell us how raising taxes and racking up huge deficits will lead us to prosperity and growth.

What's the plan there? What in God's name is this guy trying to do? You can read all over these boards about the conservative philosophy of tax cuts, smaller, government, personal responsibility, etc...

So, let's hear it. How are high taxes, big government, huge entitlement programs, government hand outs, etc... going to blaze a trail to liberty and prosperity?

I'll take zero-growth over trillions in the hole over 8 years as Bush did.

The fact that Bush handed Obama's administration the astronomical debt is an indisputable fact.

>>You can read all over these boards about the conservative philosophy of tax cuts, smaller, government, personal responsibility, etc...<<

And let's not forget war at any cost - literally.

The conservative philosophy is what created the astronomical debt. Where's that footage of Alan Greenspan saying he was wrong. He had believed in the conservative philosophy but he since concluded that relying on personal responsibility and limited regulation in business DOES NOT work.

>>How are high taxes, big government, huge entitlement programs, government hand outs, <<

They aren't and that's why no one is in favor of them. It's just a conservative red herring.

That's just plain wrong. I don't know any conservatives that think that way. How many U.N. resolutions was it before the war? How many months, 14?

The fact that Bush handed Obama's administration the astronomical debt is an indisputable fact.

As I said before, most conservatives were not onboard with all that spending. I wonder how liberals feel about it, since you talk about it as if it's a bad thing. Then Obama walks in the door, and triples it. So is Obama's spending and turbo-astronomical debt good, but Bush's fraction of that is bad?

They aren't and that's why no one is in favor of them. It's just a conservative red herring.

LOL! You post that conservatives want war at all cost, but deny that all these liberal programs... are supported by liberals! I guess you can't lose a debate if you take both sides!

Still waiting for someone to step up and tell us how all this spending and debt is going to lead us to prosperity...

Better take a look at Obama's numbers.
