On the heels of one of the world's most respected science journals, Nature's Feb. 11th issue (unable to repost due to copywrite, but easily referenced on the web) calling for a complete overhaul of the IPCC to include a second body to keep an eye on them, all the way

They warmers could only push the lie for so long...but don't expect them to abandon their faith so easily. They'll desperately cling to their ideology well into the next ice age.

>>10 GW facts:

1. There is no debate among scientists about the basic facts of global warming.

2. A well designed trading program will harness American ingenuity to decrease heat-trapping pollution cost-effectively, jumpstarting a new carbon economy.

3. Although water vapor traps more heat than CO2, because of the relationships among CO2, water vapor and climate, to fight global warming nations must focus on controlling CO2.

4. Any beneficial effects will be far outweighed by damage and disruption.

5. The global warming we are experiencing is not natural. People are causing it.

6. Although humans as a whole have survived the vagaries of drought, stretches of warmth and cold and more, entire societies have collapsed from dramatic climatic shifts.

7. While different pockets of the country have experienced some cold winters here and there, the overall trend is warmer winters.

8. In most parts of the world, the retreat of glaciers has been dramatic. The best available scientific data indicate that Greenland's massive ice sheet is shrinking.

9. Climate prediction is fundamentally different from weather prediction, just as climate is different from weather.

10. Global warming and the ozone hole are two different problems.<<

Anything to debate? Does the recent finding change anything?

Those 'facts' are not facts at all. It is political rhetoric used to scare people into giving up money and conrol of their lives.

"1. There is no debate among scientists about the basic facts of global warming."

You may want to check that.

>>> 1. There is no debate among scientists about the basic facts of global warming.

Wrong. There is no scientific consensus.

>>> 2. A well designed trading program will harness American ingenuity to decrease heat-trapping pollution cost-effectively, jumpstarting a new carbon economy.

Wrong. You can't legislate ingenuity, but liberal extremism can damage the economy and won't do a thing about greenhouse gasses.

>>> 3. Although water vapor traps more heat than CO2, because of the relationships among CO2, water vapor and climate, to fight global warming nations must focus on controlling CO2.

Hence the upset among liberals everywhere about cow farts.

>>> 4. Any beneficial effects will be far outweighed by damage and disruption.

Wrong. Global warming is a myth and unilateral attempts to curb CO2 are futile and dangerous to our economy and national security.

>>> 5. The global warming we are experiencing is not natural. People are causing it.

Wrong. There is NO evidence to support the contention that man-made greenhouse gasses are altering the earth's climate. Fact: man contributes a MINISCULE amount of the CO2 that is naturally expelled into the atmosphere.

>>> 6. Although humans as a whole have survived the vagaries of drought, stretches of warmth and cold and more, entire societies have collapsed from dramatic climatic shifts.

Que sera sera...but none from "man-made" climate change.

>>> 7. While different pockets of the country have experienced some cold winters here and there, the overall trend is warmer winters.

You obviously haven't been watching the news over the past few weeks. LOL!

>>> 8. In most parts of the world, the retreat of glaciers has been dramatic. The best available scientific data indicate that Greenland's massive ice sheet is shrinking.

Do you know why they named Greenland "Greenland?"

>>> 9. Climate prediction is fundamentally different from weather prediction, just as climate is different from weather.

And they only have a few decades of what could be considered "accurate" records. They have NOTHING but speculation upon which to base their case for "global warming"...which is why they now pull out the shell game and start calling it "climate change."

>>> 10. Global warming and the ozone hole are two different problems.

Yes...another "alarmist" myth that never came to fruition. In fact, someone recently proposed making holes in the Ozone layer to release greenhouse gasses.

1. There is no debate among scientists about the basic facts of global warming.

Isn't it "climate change" for now? And aren't you supposed to say "man caused" or something to that effect?

You may want to note that global warming and global cooling has been going on for 4.5 billion years. Are there an scientists that claim that the earth's temperature is expected to remain constant for a significant period or time?

"Resist, we much. We must, and we much. About that, be committed."

I wonder why Algore isn't rushing to every media source he can find to defend the data and convince the people that global warming is a terrifying reality? I mean, the WORLD is at stake, isn't it?
