Yeah, I understood about the process in the article; I was wondering about voting on the actual bill and whether to pass it would need just a majority vote or the "new" super majority.
I thought this vote was to actually have the bill presented to the Senate for a vote, not how they will vote. Remember, there was the same thing with the health care bill. Even people who weren't going to vote favorably for it felt that it deserved a chance to be heard on the floor of the Senate.

I'm pretty sure at this point that the people of Massachusetts who voted for Brown wanted two things: more jobs and lower taxes.
It's good that he's at least trying to fulfil his campaign promises.
