some researchers say, Americans may have to experience a sobering reality: gas at $7 a gallon.

To reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the transportation sector 14 percent from 2005 levels by 2020, the cost of driving would simply have to increase, according to a report released Thursday by researchers at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. The research also appears in the March edition of the journal Energy Policy.

It just goes to show how utterly out of touch and completely moronic these liberals are. I guess they imagine that folks are just out there driving around just for the fun of it, instead of driving to meet the needs of their respective lives and completely ignore the HUGE economic impact of such monumental stupidity. Perhaps "ignore" is the wrong word, because it's doubtful that many of them even have a concept about how things really work outside their stunted ideology. I so wish these idiots could be held accountable for their stupid beliefs...or just shut away on some oil-free-air-powered-godless island where all of their socialist ideas were operating at full force. The collective WHINE would be deafening.

Yip.

People don't drive for leisure these days, fuel is used to get to and from work and to deliver goods to market. We saw what happened when gas hit $5/gal.

Obama is such a smart guy. Of
