Yep, I posted some pictures of a tea party a year ago and people were upset there were no black people in the pictures.

Interesting - David Fredoso made Olbermann's Bronze Worst Person last night. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036677/#36242290

Olbermann makes the point that the AP article found only 5 black Tea Party'ers.

It doesn't seem to me that black people are much interested in this Tea Party. And why should they be?

In fact, in terms of demographics and the policies of the Tea Party in cutting taxes in a way that would, once again, disproportionately benefit the super rich, I don't see why anyone except ultra-rich billionaires should be interested in the Tea Party movement, or Republicanism for that matter.

"Olbermann makes the point that the AP article found only 5 black Tea Party'ers."

So should those 5 be ignored and ridiculed? Does it matter how many black people are visible within (agreeing with) the mainly 'white' TP? Do you happen to know how large or how small their support "behind the scenes" is? Aren't there many "super rich" who are black?

cutting taxes does not only benefit the super rich, that is something the liberal media and politicians have as a talking point.
