Local talk radio host this morning pulled a Beck (the "I'm not saying" and then says it) and said something along the lines of she wouldn't put it past Obama for having blown up the platform himself to stop drilling...
Right...small government to do what government is supposed to do...which is provide assistance in situations exactly like this. The Feds get revenue from the oil companies pumping in the gulf, they have jurisdiction over the rigs, so why shouldn't Jindal ask for government assistance to help with a disaster that the state had no hand in causing or overseeing, but now has to deal with?...especially since "Obama, in scuba gear swam out to the rig - blew up the platform and then swam back to shore." Of course if his golfing is any indication of his physical prowess, it's pretty doubtful that Barry could actually swim that far. LOL! I guess that's why Barry has spend more time golfing in one year than Bush spent in eight...he needs the practice.
Actually, this is the perfect example of why WE SHOULD be drilling off our coasts. When foreign companies like BP do the drilling we don't control the regs. It's stupid for libs to oppose American companies drilling off our coast and to allow foreign companies to expose the US to the same potential hazards while harvesting OUR resources.

"I think it is much more likely that Halliburton was sloppy in their work and they were the cause."
I think you're onto something there.
You've maybe seen the Haliburton income projections showing how they will make oodles and oodles of profits by saving $5 mill in construction costs
