>>> :D. Real facts are really good things.

I know...we just wish the left would start using them. :D

>>> Bush and his far-right administration most assuredly did not keep those people in the Twin Towers safe, that plane full of people who went down in PA and, how could it be, the Pentagon - THE Pentagon.

Unfortunately, those people were as safe as the Clinton administration left them.

>>> The chicken hawks Bush and Cheney - yeah, keeping the country safe. What a sad, sad laugh.

And yet, under Bush's anti-terrorism policies we were kept safe for 7 years. Under Barry's pro-terrorist policies there have been 5-6 terrorist attacks in Barry's first 18 months...yeah, keeping the country safe. What a sad, sad laugh.

>>> And just to reiterate, 9/11 happened under the fool republicans who along with their brother far-righters somehow, some way have conveniently forgotten who occupied the White House and controlled Congress when America suffered its most deadly terrorist attack -

Yes, 9/11 happened shortly after Bush took office...before he changed Clinton's "terrorism = law enforcement problem" and "stone walls between intelligence agencies" policies. One can only wonder if 9/11 would have happened at all, and those thousands of lives would have been saved, if Clinton took any one of the many, many chances he had to get Bin Laden.

>>> and then they capped it off by waging war on a country that had nothing to do with the attack.

Would that be the war that was supported by the Democrats?...until they hypocritically thought it was politically expedient to attack the US and the military, of course.

>>> Not only didn't they keep the country safe, they were complete idiots on figuring out who the enemy was.

And yet, Bush, won the Iraq war despite the left's attempts to push the country to failure, and kept us safe for 7 years...and as soon as Barry is in charge, terrorists are coming out of the woodwork. Coincidence? I think not. Thanks Barry!!!

>>> So, what do you have to say for 9/11? I believe that was on the "conservative" watch, right? Our luck ran out then. Indeed, the republicans knew how to keep our country safe. (sarcasm intended)

Luck didn't run out...Clinton blew his 8-10 chances to get Bin Laden and eventually Bin Laden got us.

>>> Oh, I forgot the shoe bomber under the Bush administration. Of course, nearly (over) 3,000 didn't die like they did when we were "successfully" attacked during the Bush administration. The far right is doing it's level best to rewrite history. Try rewriting 9/11, please, please.

The FACT is that the Clinton administration, like Barry is doing now, treated terrorism as a law enforcement problem, which carried through the first months of the Bush administration. However, after 9/11, Bush changed the country's position on terrorism to one of a military war-footing and established policies and safeguards that kept us safe...until Barry was elected, of course.

They deserve the criticism they get. They are failing at keeping our country safe. Twice we got lucky....sooner or later....our luck is going to run out.

You are wrong. Americans will be satisfied when the Obama administration stops saying that their "systems" in place worked. They didn't. We just got very luck that this guy was an idiot and didn't succeed in making a successful bomb.

I think the police work used to catch this maniac was fantastic, and nobody disputes that.

Somehow, this man was a citizen, he was on a "do not fly list", AND he boarded a plane. Something isn't working here. They deserve the criticism they get. They are failing at keeping our country safe. Twice we got lucky....sooner or later....our luck is going to run out.

>>> Ah yes - monday morning quarterbacking is always spot ont.

Coming from one of the "Blame Bush" crowd that's priceless! LOL!

>>> Bottom line is the right will not be satisfied until some catastrophic domestic terrorist attempt is deemed "successful."

Actually, the right is justifiably nervous because the terrorists are becoming more successful under Obama's pro-terrorist tutelage.

>>> I see the work by the NY police, FBI, and Homeland Security was summarily dismissed.

Work? The NYPD did a great job. It was Barry's national un-security clowns who lost track of a guy with suspected terrorist ties, allowed him to rent a car, put a bomb in it, park it in Times Square, get away on public transportation, buy a ticket to the Middle East with cash and nearly get away...before they luckily caught up with him and read him his Miranda rights. Nope...Barry's crew was bumfuzzled at every turn...or perhaps their hands were just tied due to Barry's defense and support of terrorists, like they were with the Ft. Hood shooter. Either way, than the Lord for attentive street vendors...they're doing a lot more to protect us than Barry ever did.

Wasn't too tough a week for Barry...he was absentee for all of it...probably working on his golf swing.
