Oh, no, that's O'Reilly "apologizing," not Fox News, and in viewing the entire video, it really isn't an apology. He says, "I owe Ms. Sherrod an apology for not doing my homework and for not putting her remarks into proper context" and goes on to say "But there's more to her comments that need explanation." He then pulls bits and pieces from her speech, again, attempting to put her in a bad light. It was very obvious in viewing the entire video that she wasn't being racist and she wasn't demonstrating that she discriminated against anyone at all.

He then goes on to try to create another scandal by stating this:
"We have blatant public partisanship by Sherrod which is also unusual and may be an ethical violation" and brings up the Hatch Act. If he had actually read the Hatch Act, he'd know it wasn't an ethical violation.

So, in summary, he sort of offered an apology for not doing his homework, then continued on the question her statements, still attempting to paint her as a racist (although this time being very careful to not actually state it, but just stating it needs an "explanation." *wink wink* He then also tries to create another controversy, since the painting her as a racist wasn't working out so well, by suggesting she committed ethics violations.

LOL! So if Fox News has the #1 ratings, I guess they'll have to stop with their whole "we're an underdog" shtick.

O'Reilly offered an apology for the comments he made without having the proper context. He then went on to examine Sherrod's actual words and offered his commentary on them. Fair and balanced.

With ratings nearly double their nearest pathetic competitor, it would be silly to sell themselves as "underdogs"...which is why they don't.

I decided that the reason FOX's rating are so high is that their politalkers always say "The American people this....and The American People that....."; as if everything the rightwingers want is what ALL we Americans desire. A sort of brainwashing, you know?

But only those who cannot think for themselves fall for it, and continue to watch FOX. Apparently we have a lot of Americans who have been FOXwashed.

As Rachel Maddow says, FOX may be rated #1 by viewers, but they are not #1 in accurately presenting the FACTS. She wins hands-down over any FOX show when it comes to the TRUTH.

Man-child Obama and the politics of revenge
WorldNet Daily ^ | July 24, 2010 | Ellis Washington

"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race" Barack Hussein Obama

In a 9/11 New York Times interview, the murderous terrorist Bill Ayers, President Obama's political mentor, the man in whose home he started his political career in 1995, said: ''I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough.'' Rev. Jeremiah Wright, in whose church Michelle and Barack Obama dutifully worshipped for 20 years, said: "Racism is how this country (America) was founded and how this country is still run!"

Obama, recounting his formative years, wrote: "To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists." From this we can deduce that Obama and his closest friends all passionately hate America.

This is President Obama and the politics of revenge.

This is who Obama is. This is how Obama was raised: to hate America with a fanatical hatred that controls and animates his social, political, economic, religious and foreign-policy worldview. His entire Cabinet are a veritable Who's Who of political radicals, social engineers, Marxists, feminists, socialists, communists, fascists.

Recently, Obama's entrenched racism toward America was revealed in a vile diatribe by one of his appointees, Shirley Sherrod, the USDA's Georgia director of rural development, who in a speech to the NAACP in March 2010 unearthed by Andrew Breitbart said:

He had to come to me for help. What he didn't know while he was taking all that time trying to show me he was superior to me was I was trying to decide just how much help I was going to give him,"

Fox has such high ratings because so many more of the American people are interested in a fair and balanced reporting of the news, rather than the partisan hackery and schoolyard tactics of liberal news outlets.

>>> But only those who cannot think for themselves fall for it, and continue to watch FOX. Apparently we have a lot of Americans who have been FOXwashed.

But so many liberals and independents, who couldn't think for themselves, were duped into voting for Obama...and yet so few watch the Obama news outlets like MSNBC and CNN...isn't that odd?

>>> As Rachel Maddow says, FOX may be rated #1 by viewers, but they are not #1 in accurately presenting the FACTS. She wins hands-down over any FOX show when it comes to the TRUTH.

Maddow is a buffoon who's so far out in left field she wouldn't know the truth if it hit her in the face. I watch her on occasion just for the amusement factor and to see how wacked out the far-left really is. She deserves every one of her rating points...which are dwindling as Fox's soar.

Sure there is. We're going to neuter him in November, making him a lame duck, and make sure he's relegated to Jimmy Carter relevancy in 2012. LOL!
