We're trying to build two nations in Muslim countries, while the proposed construction of a religious center here is bringing the US to the brink of civil war, tearing apart our own country. Al qaeda must be enjoying the unfolding comedy.

You're right, it doesn't count.
But it was different when it was President Bush ...
I didn't say the poll was inaccurate or that it doesn't count. My point is that the rightwingers who always claim "The American People" want things the covservatives' way, are delusional if they think that every person who disapproves of the way Obama is handling an issue would prefer someone else in the White House.
If pres elections were held today, I'd want to vote for Kucinich or Grayson, but knowing they'd have close to zero chance of getting elected, I'd vote for Obama again because he's the best we've got right now.
Who would the rightwingers vote for? All I can do is laugh, thinking about it.

So, when the polls show dismal approval ratings and people dissatisfied with the lousy job he's doing on so many fronts, it really doesn't count. LOL!!!
I think Hitler, Stalin, and Hussein (the other one) all didn't care what the people wanted either.

Come November Obama's going to wish his numbers look like that.
I don't recall who did the poll, but another has reported that support for Obama among blacks has dropped 12% (down to 88% approval). That's really saying something since democrats in general have a 90% deathgrip on the black vote. If Obama's slipping among black, imagine where the rest of the party is going to be situated.
I cannot even respond to such a reply. This has nothing to do with the Iraq war.
And, for what it's worth, I remember the Iraqi's celebrating in the streets the day that Saddam Hussein statue came down. America did that for them.
Now....if those Muslims would quit blowing each other up over there and show a little of that peace and tolerance that they preach so.
I won't hold my breath.
It's time to butt in and get rid of that embarrassment sitting in the White House!
Remember, those who disapprove come from both sides. I'm a flaming liberal and, if asked in a poll, I would answer that I disapprove of Obama's handling of half of the categories. My reasons for disapproving, though, are exactly opposite those of a rightwinger.
I'm sure that if asked today, most immigrants would say they disapprove, but not because they want to be deported or have fewer rights, as many rightwingers wish.
