Hmmm... I only get one, eh? I so want to see universal health care, and we have to do so much better educating our young.

Instead of going with those, I'm going to be a bit more modest, and say the Equal Rights Amendment.

The laws I would like to see passed and think are most important are the ones that have no chance of passing.

Here’s one:

Requiring parents to spend at least :45 min a day 5 days a week to help each of their children with their homework. Two children = :90min and so on.

Barring that, I would like to see tort reform. If someone misuses or abuses a product, they should not be allowed to sue for damages. If you eat at McD’s 5 times a day, you will get fat and can not blame them (as that kid did). If you are pushing your body to its’ limits and take caffeine and ephedra for further enhancement, you should expect a heart attack (as the NFL player).

I think tort reform is needed. Is there a balanced budget amendment? If not, I'd like to see that passed (and the elimination of gov't pork). Oh and enforcing existing immigration laws would be nice, too.

Gosh, I'd say Universal Health Care, as far as I'm concerned this should be the number one issue.

The last time anyone listened to a Bush, they were lost for 40 years!   Looks like we're doomed to "wander" ano

Complete Welfare reform, that means Welfare in any form. Benefits only if you are disabled and physically unable to work (depression wouldn't count, many of us working folks have that).

That really is a thought provoking question. When I think about what issues are most important to me (the security of my children, education, the economy) I find it hard to choose any one law. As far as national security goes, which is number one for me, I guess I would have to say a law that would stop the dangerous flow of illegal immigration into this country, or at the very least one requiring our current immigration laws to be strictly enforced.

No BBA yet. I would love to see all of those passed. It actually makes me a little giddy thinking about it :-)
