I know it is a day earlier than normal, but I eventually want to have the TPQOTW for you all on Mondays, so expect it to roll back another day next week, and for Mondays to be the targeted day for TPQOTW.

Those are two good choices. I was hoping Lieberman would have made the D ticket this year. I would have had a difficult time choosing who to vote for if he had. I don’t agree with his position on Amend. #2, other than that I think he’s a solid candidate.

If we could get the parties to play nice with an independent I would choose:

Pres. Steve Forbes

V.P. Walter Williams

Neither are career politicians and both hold similar views to my own. In addition to their intellect and experience I would also look forward to the sound bites clipped from Williams for the nightly news.

This just in… V.P. Williams says: “Taxes are a form of legalized theft.” And adds: “I don’t want to steal from my fellow Americans.” lol

I think his edgy remarks would get people thinking again about the actions our government takes.

President: Republican Condoleeza Rice

Vice President: Democrat Joe Lieberman

Those would be my choices too. Great question, by the way.

President John Kerry and Vice President John McCain. I was literally drooling last month when this ticket was briefly floated...

I felt the same. I know McCain said that he wouldn't consider it; but as mad as he's been getting lately I'm hoping he'll change his mind. :)

I would agree with that ticket, or replace Rice with Colin Powell as they seem to be somewhat interchangable. Both are articulate, both are intelligent and seem to have an evenhandedness to them as does Joe Lieberman.
