Upset with how Kate tricked them into being with Brandon on Thanksgiving, Sami tells herself that she must get him to leave town. Meanwhile, Lucas decides he must act as well. Finished with his tests, Abe advises Lexie and Brandon that his vision is temporary, thanks to the medication he's taking. Brandon assures him he'll be staying in town for a while. Sami interrupts and talks to Brandon about her relationship with Lucas. He urges her to put off the wedding if she's not sure of her feelings but he adds that he will not come between her and Lucas. Abe later reports that a specialist confirmed that he will go blind and that surgery won't solve his problem. John has another visit from the mystery person but this time he spots the gloved visitor and quickly recognizes whomever it is. Kate bursts into the loft to congratulate Philip and Belle about their engagement. Her happiness is cut short when Philip admits that he's being shipped overseas. Lucas arrives and pulls his mother out to the hallway where she blasts him for trying to reunite Brandon and Sami. Back inside, Lucas congratulates the happy couple until Belle admits that they only day they can get married is the same day Sami has picked out to wed. Sami arrives and quickly refuses to consider changing her date. When Belle suggests a double wedding with John walking them both down the aisle, Sami angrily blames John for her parents' deaths. Hope bails out Shawn after he's arrested for DUI. He lays into Bo for being with Billie instead of helping him at the station house. Confessing he dropped out of school, Shawn finally admits that Belle and Philip are engaged. She insists he call Bo with his news but he ends up complaining again because Bo's too busy with Billie to take his call. Meanwhile, Bo assures Billie that they will find their daughter.

Shawn wakes in his cell with a terrible hangover, badmouthing Bo for being with Billie. Shawn sends Hope and Jennifer home where they field a call from Bo who is too busy to listen to what happened to Shawn. Hope overhears Bo on the phone assuring Billie he'll help them find their daughter. John wakes to find Brady in his hospital room for a visit. Brady talks about how much he cares for Nicole. After Brady leaves, the mystery person injects John's I.V. again. Upset by Philip's news that Belle wants to marry him on the same day Sami intends to tie the knot with Lucas, Sami runs to the hospital and demands a blood test so she can get married. Mimi urges Belle to postpone her wedding plans so that she can give her decision more thought. At the loft Jan warns Mimi that she better make sure Belle and Philip get married or she'll tell Rex about her abortion. Ignoring the threat, Mimi gets rid of Jan by sending her to the hospital and then tries to reunite Shawn and Belle. When Kate arrives, Mimi asks Philip for help leaving Kate with Belle who cries that she thinks she may be rushing into marriage. Kate presses her to believe Philip loves her but Belle instead "hears" the advice that she should follow her heart. Belle gets a moment alone with Shawn and confesses that she still has strong feelings for him. She asks him if he too cares for her. Nicole confronts Jan and boasts that Colin was not murdered and that Victor survived the murder attempt so she has nothing to blackmail her with. Jan claims she can tell Brady of her immoral actions. Sami finds Brady and Nicole talking about the loss of Marlena and Roman and blasts him for saving Nicole instead of her parents. Billie gives Kate the news about Georgia and Kate hopes that she'll be together with Bo after all. Sami announces to Lucas she wants to elope. Bo comes home to an upset Hope who blasts him for being with Billie instead of with his son.

Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Brady and Nicole talk about the troubles their friends face. When he wonders how Shawn could end up with Jan, Nicole points out how tough a life she has had. After cracking a comment about how Jan might have killed her own parents, Brady heads to the shower where Nicole joins him. Abe, Lexie, Celeste and Brandon stop by the Penthouse Grill for a night of fun as Abe admits he wants to enjoy all he can see before he loses his eyesight. Celeste uses a free moment to read Brandon's palm. She's startled to "see" him with Sami in front of a Justice of the Peace and the two later married. Lucas tries to calm Sami as she frantically prepares to elope. He suggests that there's no reason to change their plans just because Belle wants to get married on the same day. When she gives him an ultimatum, he guesses she's in a panic because of Celeste's prediction and convinces her to go out for a nice dinner. They arrive at the Penthouse Grill where Brandon is trying to convince Celeste he's nowhere near Sami. While Jan is stunned to learn from Philip that Shawn is at Belle's and not at the hospital, Belle is pressing Shawn to admit he still cares for her. As the two come close to kissing, Philip and Jan arrive. Jan orders Belle to stay away from Shawn but Belle advises Shawn she'll meet him later as planned on the roof. Philip okays the meeting, telling her to make it the last one. Meanwhile, having been told to stop badmouthing Belle, Jan drugs Shawn's juice and then turns to a nearby computer to work her next scheme, programming voice files of Philip and Belle to play, admitting their love for each other.

As Abe toasts to his family at the Penthouse Grill, Brandon can't help but eye Sami on the dance floor with Lucas who is glancing at Brandon. Celeste later warns Brandon that she "sees" that he will be with Sami before the evening is over but he insists he won't be. Lexie then pulls Brandon out to the terrace and lectures him about Sami. Meanwhile, Abe cuts in to dance with Sami. After he mentions his blindness problem, she boasts of wanting to give Will a better life than she had. When he mentions John, she becomes upset and starts blaming him for her parents' death. As she yells, Abe collapses. Mentioning Belle's upcoming chat with Shawn, Philip explains to Rex that if she chooses to return to him, he's not going to chase after Belle. He mentions the heartache over losing Chloe and vows not to put himself through that. Meanwhile, Mimi tries to convince Belle that Jan might be brainwashing Shawn but Belle won't believe her and heads to the roof for her meeting. Shawn wakes from his drugged sleep and has a violent reaction to Jan. He calms down and eventually leaves for the rooftop. Mimi confronts Jan and accuses her of doing something to Shawn. When she calls her "crazy," Jan slaps her hard and the two start fighting. While Kate is at the station house pushing Billie to call Bo back to work to help her, Bo returns home and faces a disgusted Hope who is worried about the troubles Shawn is facing. Bo argues that Shawn's an adult now and can handle it and then reminds her he has a daughter who needs to be found. She fumes when he admits he would chose Georgia over his sons because she needs him. Hope pleads with him to understand that there are problems with Shawn they don't know about but Bo puts her off, promising to talk with Shawn tomorrow. Billie interrupts with a call reporting that Georgia may be in Europe.

Caroline and Victor are revealed to be together in a castle in Europe. In Austria, Chloe eyes her scarred face and reassures herself that she did the right thing lying to Brady. Nancy arrives with the news that Craig and Joy will be arriving for the holidays. Though she insists she doesn't want to see Brady because of her disfigured face, Chloe eventually advises her mother that she will see Brady once she's "put back together." After Shawn insists he doesn't love her anymore now that she's with Philip, Belle calls her friend and announces she will marry him. After they fight, Mimi finds Jan's video of Philip and Belle and then accidentally takes Jan's keys with her. Hope and Bo kiss and make up and settle down in front of the fireplace until Billie calls with the news that she thinks she has found Georgia in Europe. Bo quickly excuses himself to head to the station house. While Lucas helps Abe up after collapsing, Lexie accuses Sami of hurting Abe. Abe assures Lexie they were just dancing and he lost his balance. Tek arrives with a beautiful woman as his date which obviously upsets Lexie. Meanwhile, Brandon drives away from Salem, vowing to prove Celeste wrong with her prediction. When Nicole joins him in the shower, Brady explains that he can't make love to her right now but invites her out to the Penthouse Grill. Outside the restaurant, Brady points out the star he named after Chloe. Sami finds them there and quickly insults Nicole. Brady lays into her for being upset that her own sister wanted to get married the same day Sami did. Lucas is tired of her causing trouble and decides to cancel the surprise he had arranged for them tonight, leaking he made plans with a Justice of the Peace. Later, the two get into a crash during a snow storm and hit Brandon's speeding car. Brady and Nicole return home, unaware someone is videotaping them which Tony later shows to Victor.
