GLORIA RECAST ON Y&R!
Kevin and Michael, say hello to your new mommy! The Young and the Restless has tapped soap vet Judith Chapman for the role of Gloria Fisher. She'll assume the part from its originator, Joan Van Ark, who has said she's burned out by daytime's demanding pace. Savvy soap viewers will recall Chapman from her stints as Ginny Blake on General Hospital, Anjelica Deveraux on Days of our Lives and Natalie Hughes on As the World Turns. Her first airdate is scheduled for Jan. 17.

Well I'm not a fan of Gloria, but I thought Joan Van Ark (except for the weird plastic surgery she's seemed to have over the years) did a good job w/ a character who could've only ended up being short-term.
Gosh does that mean that Gloria is going to stick around.
Boy it is hard to tell u don't like Gloria lol
I think she was only going to be short-term originally, but I guess they like the way the story is going w/ her.
