FINNIGAN A HIT AGAIN
The Bold and the Beautiful alum Jennifer Finnigan was quite a hit on the daytime screen, winning three consecutive Emmys for her portrayal of tortured but tough medical student Bridget Forrester. And it looks like the actress's luck is crossing over to prime time with her new sitcom Committed. Finnigan plays Marnie, a free-spirited gal who falls for a man suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder. She spoke with TV Guide Online about her new comedy a day before winning her third Emmy last May. "Initially I said, 'I cannot do this,'" she shared. "I think that's one of the reasons I did it anyway." That's a good thing. The show's premiere on Jan. 4 garnered 10 million viewers, a 22 percent gain of NBC's audience on the same night and time period a year ago. Committed airs Tuesdays (9:30 pm/ET, NBC).
