grrrr I cannot sleep..I am exhausted and cranky but my eyes wont stay shut..so of course I get online to kill some time..I went to "ediets" and you know they wont help because i am nursing my son...I am aware diets of extreme aren't safe while breastfeeding..but sheesh..it's not like I am trying to lose tons FAST!!!!

And good Gad I have plenty of "extra" for nursing lol..I knwo thats not how it works..but how frustrating!! I even asked my son's pediatrician when we went last week to his appt. and she said "EAT EXTRA CALORIES WHILE BREASTFEEDING" grrr...As we all know "breast is best" but I am so dang frustrated...its hard nursing a baby being a fat lady!!! lol..its not like I can just "plop" it out cause there is so much more there for a fat mommy than for a slimmer mommy lmao..I am making no sense it is almost 3am. but I am going to post this anyways so some of you might get a laugh after having to read all the hateful remarks...my gooness...you'd think we could find something worth fighting over like world peace or something instead of all the silly stuff we (as humans) think is important .

AND before I get posts of "EAT RIGHT YADAYADAYADA" (lol..sorry)...lemme save you a breath and say I KNOW MMMMMK?I am simply wasting some time and letting off some steam with the hopes that other women..who are overweight and are a bit sympathetic to my cause can appreciate my babbling because I am not making a lick of sense..lol..g'nigh and God Bless

Can you nurse him in bed? I had four kids in less than five years and the only thing that let me get any sleep was keeping baby either with me or in a bassinet next to me so I never had to get up--I learned to nurse lying on my side and just slept through the whole thing, when baby would cry I would just heave him over me and switch sides. Don't know if that is an option for you but it saved my life! KSAS

Thank you Shawna for the sites...I will definitly look into them!!

Ksas,,,I couldn't survive if baby wasn't sleeping with me lol(lack of sleep)....As a matter of fact we usually sleep in the living room as my fiance is a bear in bed and gets grouchy if he is woken all night long by the baby. There is no way I could bring baby to bed with us either..daddy would sqaush him and I would probably smother him lol..its only a full size bed...I told him while I was preggie we need to invest in a king..lol..maybe next time he will listen! And like you suggested nursing in bed...yepp..it's wonderful..and we are really getting the hang of it..problem is I keep falling asleep lol..Anyways I just couldn't sleep last night probably due to stress I can't decide if I want to go back to work or school or just stay at home..well first chocice is stay home with my son but we are wanting to purchase a home within a few years oh here I go babbling lol..sorry ladies..anywho..thank you girls for the advice!

Well here is some more unasked for advice:) You baby will only be a baby ONCE..If you can afford it I would so encourage you to not miss this time with him. In a couple of years you can work your ass off, get the house, etc. But you can't make him be a baby again. I know lots of women who work and are fine and their babies are fine, I just feel so strongly that when he is graduating from high school you may look back and regret that you didn't get more time with him. I don't want to make anyone mad with this, it is just a personal opinion and I know there are many factors that go into this decision...but I don't think you will ever be sorry that you stayed home with your baby! Congrats on your lil one, they are so wonderful aren't they? =) I soooooo know how you feel right now,I stopped nursing when my son was 10 months old because I was so sick of my weight(I actually lost all the baby weight by my 6 week check up and thought"Hey!This breastfeeding thing is wonderful!",but then at about 9 months, gained it all back plus some)so I can agree with you that you can't just whip it out like skinny women, lol.

Like another poster noted, they are only little once..and I wish I had held out a few months longer. As it is,I didn't start to lose the weight I'm losing now until just recently, and my son is 22 months now.

So,just know that you are not alone in the weight loss battle with a baby attached to you ;)

dang it I always miss dr phil lol....fiance and I discussed this before we ever got preggie and decided I would stay at home untill our children start school....thank God hunny is financially secure enough for me to be able to do that but like Shawna said..sometimes I feel worthless cause I dont do anything outside of the home...lets not forget though that housewives-sahm have one of the toughest jobs...taking care of an entire family and household(HATS OFF TO ALL YOU SAHM)...And I do want to stay home with my little man..my older son is 10 and when he was a baby my ex hubby and I weren't financially able for me to stay home..I was working by the time he was 8 weeks old , I had planned on going to school for my nursing degree when Adam (my 10 y/o) was old enough to be mildly responsible , and as soon as that happened I ended up with bambino number 2..what a major age gap..it's like starting all over again . Anywho thanks for your support on the matter and KSAS..its never unwanted advice :)
