We were really lucky this year to get some extra money, so we did all of our shopping early for once.

I am no where near done. I have gotten my mom, my step mother in law, and 3 of my nieces done. I have barely started on my three girls, or hubby. My sister has a birthday xmas eve, and my dad has his on the 26. I have such a large family, shopping is a major undertaking. I make baked goods for friends and neighbors. this year santa is on a budget. my girls have an extreme amount of toys, video games, computer games etc. There is literally no room in the bedrooms for more toys. The last few years I went way overboard buying stuff. plus, older cousins give them their old toys too. hubby put up our fake tree in the new room addition. he even put up a complete christmas village on top of the piano. I made him turn the lights off the tree. You can see the tree, from outside. he put it right in front of our bay window. A tad early for xmas tree. neighbors must think we are weird. lol...........jenz

I was done in August. na na na na na na :-P~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In my family, it's easy. We all are flying in from other states to Oklahoma so we all bring only one gift each. Then we sit around the tree. One person opens a gift and puts it on his/her lap. The second person does the same. The second person can trade or not. The third person goes. etc. It's a pain in the butt to try to pack and fly home presents.

Sometimes it becomes hilarious over the coveted gifts. My rotten little niece beat me over a box of kitty cat socks last year -- and she brought them for crying out loud!!!!! Gifts are frozen after being traded 3 times.

It is a lot of fun and very cheap. We have a $20 limit.

Blessings,

well, I guess my excuse of having a lot of people to buy for isn't going to fly. You buy for 19 people shawna? I guess im not the only one having to buy for so many relatives. It is such a big pain trying to hide presents for 3 kids. This house has little closets. jenz
