So I know we are all trying to eat healthier and that *should* be changing our attitudes too right?

Probably Diet Coke, but even then I'm down from the 6 I could drink in a day to maybe one every other day or so. And I try to buy decaffeinated pop anyway. I refuse to pass up the occasional cookie or treat, and like I mentioned in another thread, I keep bite size chocolates on hand around.

Chocolate, especially Hershey's plain milk chocolate, it's my favorite, not sure why just something about the taste and texture I just gotta have, LOL! I have definitely cut way back on the amount that I eat, it used to be I had to have some sort of chocolate every day, now I can get by with a few times a week. Maybe it's an addiction, maybe a curse, I don't know, but there's no way I'm giving up my chocolate!

Coffee/Starbucks/caffeine - I get mine non-fat and no-whip, but I also dump in at least 2 teaspoons of sugar...if only I can learn to drink coffee black like my bf...also drink 4-6 mugs of chinese jasmine tea (no sugar) a day...that's where most of my water intake comes from...

Booze - I hope you don't get the impression that I'm an alcoholic, but I like premium beers (none of that low carb, lite beer crap for me) and I like cocktails. I'm well aware that they're loaded with empty calories, but I don't care.

KFC popcorn chicken - calorie wise it's not the end of the world as far as fast food goes (450) but it DOES have something like 35-40 grams of fat. So I get ONLY the chicken and eat it at home with a salad dressed with a mist of olive oil and vinegar.

White rice - I'm chinese, I like brown rice, but it's just a faux pas to eat it at home. On a really REALLY bad day I have been known to eat 10 servings, but usually I eat about 1/2-1 cup daily.

I'm with Shawna...I could not live without Taco Salad with the shell. I don't eat it very often but when I want it, I have to get it!!

I refuse to give up coffee (especially peppermint lattes). Surprise? Not really seeing as I'm around it all day.

Ketchup. I don't eat alot of it at one time but I have a hard time eating some foods without it, but I have managed.

Taco Salad, Coffee & Ketchup...sounds gross put together!! hehehe.

Hey Shawna,

I cannot give up chocolate. It's just out of the question. So, I eat it in small portions..though night before last, I ate half of this big banana split I made. It included chocolate syrup, choc. whipped cream, and chocolate chunks...and a couple other non-chocolate things, but they are so insignifigant, all i care about is the dark stuff! I love it! And I end up buying my mom candy bars just so I can have a bite, but not eat the whole thing.

I think I woulde never be able to give up the occasional chile relleno, or cheese enchillada. actually i don't think I could eliminate any food containing cheese. Drink wise, I need my 2 diet coke a day habit. jenz

honestly, once you reach your goal, i dont think you have to give up ANYTHING if you really want it .... the solution is portion control :)

i mean you see allll these skinny people around eating whatever the heck they feel like ... why should we be any different? as long as we're exercising and controlling any potential binges ... i say heck, eat what you want lol

If you saw me, you'd think I was skinny, and I assure you that I most DEFINITELY do not eat whatever I want.

If I had one wish for everyone who sees me and thinks "skinny fit bitch", I would wish for them to know that I have to work out like a fiend and eat healthily not 80%, but more like 99% of the time to control my weight.

Just because I'm at goal does not make things ANY easier.
