I'm up to 164 minutes since Wednesday.
You overacheiver!
Shawna
Laura
And Shawana is vcalling me the overachiever.
I didn't do anything last Wed.
Thursday we had a "family wrestling match" in which I was the target of a tickle attack and as I writhed and wiggled and laughed I'm *sure* I lost a few calories...lol. Not to mention dodging pillow attacks and delivering some pillow attacks too. What a fun time. I think it lasted around 30 mins or so.
Friday...let's see...I know I did something. OH! I strapped on my heels and shook my booty to some No Doubt. :o) I also danced with my daughter that evening to the songs at the end of Shrek. Guess I was glad the weekend had finally arrived! I'm counting these activities as about 35 minutes.
Saturday was spent stretching and reaching and lifting and playing. We decorated my SIL's house (well, I did most of it since she had to go to work and her husband and mine decided to watch tv instead...lol). I was on my feet for several hours and tried to make my movements very deliberate and meaningful (does that make sense? Like instead of just lifting something I lifted with resistance) And I went for a walk with my SIL after she got home from work. So hmmmm...I'll say around 20 minutes for the walk...and for the decorating...ummmm...let's just say 60 minutes? I don't know how to count that. lol. I mean, I was up and about for several hours but it wasn't super strenuos or anything.
Sunday I went up to my parents house and helped them decorate...and again it was mainly me that did everything because my mom got called into work and my dad just isn't into decorating much. I think someone found out I'm a sucker for Christmas decorating! rofl. I helped my mom get everything out of the attic which may not seem like much work but you haven't seen how many boxes of *stuff* she had up there! rofl. So more bending and lifting and stretching for me. I also took my daughter to Christmas tree lots and wandered around several of them looking for the *perfect* tree which I also carried into my house. :o) Oh and I should mention that my daughter (she's 3) thought it would be funny if she ran between the trees into different rows so I had to chase her all over the place...lol. normally I would have been kinda grouchy at her for running off but this time it was just kind of a fun game. :o) I'll say 60 minutes for the decorating here too...it was a little more strenuos but I didn't do it as long. And for the Christmas tree lots...I'll just say 20 minutes.
So Monday and Tuesday (and Wednesday? or do we report Wednesday?) I'm not sure what I'll do yet but I'll find something!
So I think I've probably met the challenge! :o) Let me add those numbers up...that would be around 225. Does that sound fair or should I count the less strenuous stuff as less time. I'm thinking *any* movement is better than nothing at this point! I think for me, right now, I need to do things like I've been doing...keep it fun and not really a routine.
Yippee!
