Thanks everyone for prayers and positive energy while I've been searching for a job. Your efforts have paid off :-)
Wichita Falls editing job called today and offered me the position. I had written off the job b/c the guy didn't call by 5 p.m. He called at 6:03 p.m. When I hesitated b/c of my shock, he upped the offered salary by $2000/year. :-)
I have to pass a drug test -- never taken one. Anyone know if it picks up Xanax, Effexor, Lithium or if it only picks up street drugs?
Assuming I pass the drug test, I'm taking the job and will be relocating from Louisiana to Texas ASAP.
Blessings and thanks so much again and again from the bottom of my heart (and my overdrawn checking account :-)

But yeah the college team sucks butt compared to Oklahoma
I am actually in Plano..its just a suburb of Dallas.(10 miles north of the big D)..I used to live in Graham it is about 40 miles
::kicking the dirt:: danged Cowboys lost..wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ANyways Im mad
If I move to Texas does tthis mean I have to root for the cowboys? :-)

It is a dirty little secret here in Texas that you actually DONT have to be a Cowboy fan.....but once it gets in your blood they are addictive even if they do suck for the season.....My dad bawled like a baby when Tom Landry died (coached the 'Boys back in the 80's)
It is however a law that you must not speak ill of the Cowboys on game day..Ok so I am lying but it would be a great law to add to the dumb laws
