hi, my name is serena. i am just beginning my weight loss journey and found this board. i like to read about you all and think we can be helpful to each other. i am 23 yrs old. i am a SAHM. i weigh 273.5 and want to weigh 150 (when i get there i'll see if that is enough, lol... i want to be 130 something.. but ya know how that goes) i have read dr. phil's book and am working with it... but at this point not as well as i should. i want to use whole foods in my diet as well as maybe meal replacements (in the morning). i'm working on the exercise part. i started with 10 min today on my eliptical trainer machine. it's a start.
my other life... lol.... i have been married for 6 yrs (that's how i gained the weight... i married a pig and then became one). we have 2 kids. a 5 yr old boy and a 2 yr old girl.(the piglets, hehe).
about me... i'm horribly disorganized even tho i don't wanna be... i have a hair cut that i love (just got it thursday)... i like reading (romance, historical novels, suspense) and learning... i'm a board game addict...

I'm at 217 and want to get to 145. I'm trying to lose my pregnancy weight, my daughter is 14 months and it's not a very good excuse anymore.
My short term goal is to lose 1.5 pounds a week rather than looking at the whole 70some odd pounds this YEAR!
