Hi,

I am new to this board but glad I found it. I new to lose at least 150 #, I am 358, 5'9" and that is a start.

I cannot at this time afford to join, WW or a club, so where do I begin ? I have started parking further away, and trying not to eat after 8PM. But I am just at my wits end.

I need some support and ideas.

I have found taking baby steps also helps...for instance , I was so totally addicted to soda I tried quitting cold turkey and fell flat on my face !! So I began drinking less and eventually NONE ok..sometimes I have a diet ... Next was moving.....next was drinking more water..which I still have a hard time with...it's basically incorporating NEW HABITS and getting rid of those old nasty habits..it is hard sometimes but I believe you can do itZ!! Best of Luck Becca!! I am just starting, too, and am loving this board. Welcome and let's keep each other motivated!!

I am trying to start WW- but I'm not paying or going to weigh-in meetings. There are several websites (look through the "Diet Plans fattening my mailbox" thread) that have info, and I am trying to buy a hard copy of the flex points book on ebay. I am a big fan of walking (often with the dog), but also have a video I like.
