Betty? As in Betty Page? Wow, she sure was a knockout! I got a calendar for my husband that has her on it. He loves pin-ups from the 50's and 60's. It is a calendar from: www.calendars.com

I'm Christina from Iowa, moving to Texas when my husband returns from overseas.

5'7" 278/270/251 (my 10% goal)

1)I've been a WeightWatchers member since September 2002. Just because I haven't lost very much on the program doesn't mean it doesn't work. I've had a lot of personal things to go through with my husband in the military, so my main goal in joining was to not gain a lot more weight while he has been gone. It has held me accountable for my eating habits.

2)I only weigh at my meetings each week on Tuesday mornings. I won't eat or drink anything until after the meeting. Some days, I'm really starving by the time I get breakfast, especially when I need to make a trip to the grocery store before coming home.

3)I've lost 30 or 40 pounds before, so I would have to say the increased energy (mostly at night--LOL)

4)My dream weight would be around 160, and I would be happy with any size that does not include a W or an X behind it.

5)My motivation is to be around for my kids.

6)The worst thing about being overweight is feeling invisible and never being taken seriously.

7)I would want to know why my Windows XP locks up on me while I'm on the internet. And if my teenager really behaves himself when he is out with friends--everyone else says he's a really good kid, why can't he act that way at home?

8)My hair color is a medium brown, with a few gray highlights. LOL. If I had the guts, I would like to try a strawberry blond--kind of like Lucille Ball, not her red red. Or maybe jet black. But I would settle for just washing away some of the gray

1) what plan am i following...

i'm kind of drifting and haven't got one completely nailed down. i'm trying to stay away from carbs and sugar, except for what occurs naturally in fruits and veggies. i'm trying also to limit fat. pretty much trying to stick to whole unprocessed foods as much as possible. drinking lots and lots of water.

2) do you play games with your scale.

absolutly!

3) best part of losing weight?

getting complements

4) dream weight and size jeans?

130ish-145ish pounds... jeans ... uh what ever that fits, lol i'd love to get into a 10

5) biggest motivation?

i want to look better... (is that SO VAIN?);P

6) worst thing about being overweight?

not fitting into.... clothes, seats, rides, with people in general

7) if you could know the future?

i would like to know about my life in general in say 10 yrs... am i happy, am i still married, did we ever find out what is wrong with my son, did both of my kids grow up happy, did i ever go back to college, or start an interesting career, do i have money in the bank? do i ever get a cool car?lol

8) what color is hair? what color you want it to be?

my hair is natural blonde. i would tell the stylist to help me out! i would like my hair to complement my skin tone a bit more.

***Sarah from Washington State, USA. I'm 5'5" and my stats are 276/230/135***

1) What plan are you following, how long have you been on it and why would you recommend it?

***I have been on the Atkins plan for 19 weeks now. I would recommend it because it is the easiest plan I've ever followed...but it's not for everyone and you need to find what's right for you.

2) Do you play games with your scale (like weigh in w/ clothes then w/o.......or before and after using the bathroom?

***no games...we have an understanding the scale and I. lol. I weigh myself once a week (okay, sometimes more if I need some motivation) first thing in the morning, buck nekked, post-potty. rofl. Okay, maybe that is a game but it's my routine...rofl

3) If you had to pick the one best thing about losing weight (even if you just started and haven't lost anything yet) what would it be?

***My increased confidence/self esteem. It's amazing what losing weight can do for you. I guess I just feel better because I'm *doing* something about it now!

4) What is your dream weight and dream jeans size?

***Not sure if I have a "dream weight and dream jeans size". My goal of 135 is very flexible. It's been so long since I've been below 200 that I am playing it more by ear. I don't even know what jeans size I would be in at 135...but when I tell people 135 they are like, "woah! you'll be tiny!" which seems odd to me because it's what I was in high school and I wasn't considered tiny then!!

5) What is your biggest motivation?

***Knowing that I will be able to shop ANYWHERE for clothes...that's my shallow motivation. rofl. But I also look forward to feeling up to anything...going for a hike, chasing my daughter around.

6) What is the absolute worst thing about being overweight?

***The blow that my confidence took...feeling like I don't deserve things because I'm fat (like a job or a special occasion)

7) If a crystal ball would tell you the truth about any one thing you wished to know concerning yourself, life, the future, or anything else, what would you want to know?

***Do I want another child?

8) What color is your hair? If you won a dye-job from a salon, what color would you have it dyed?

***Naturally it's red...like a real bright orange-red. I like coloring it darker but I might go for a multi color foil...like browns, reds and blonds...I always like how that looks!!

Fun stuff!

1. The too-much-tv-and-ice-cream-no-wonder-I'm-single plan. I do recommend it. It's easy, reliable, and there's very little sweating involved.

2. No scale games.

3. The best thing about losing weight would be the cute clothes.

4. 155/8

5. I'm not motivated, obviously.

6. EVERYthing about overweight is crummy. I guess I most hate that it makes me feel undeserving of every pleasure and success in life.

7. Will I ever be happy?

8. brown and silver/royal blue
