I totally agree.... the first few trolls threw me for a loop, but since then they don't bother me. And the name totally fits...one of the definitions of troll is To fish for by trailing a baited line. Not to mention the unpleasant creatures of mythology. Their bait is their unnecessary cruelty, unkindness or warpedness- whatever it may be for that specific person. Their goal is the obvious discomfort they hope to create....in any event, don't let them win.

I considered no longer coming here when the first troll popped up, but my husband talked me out of it, citing my increased motivation and better attitude since I started here. They aren't worth losing the support of the others on this board.

Hugs to all.

Great advice!

Everyone put your warm fuzzies on and shower the board with love and support. They'll shrivel up from all the sweetness and run away!

As someone who has attracted quite a bit of negative attention, I know that its worth it to stick around these boards.

Or melt like the wicked witch who had a bucket of water dumped on her.....if we fill our buckets with kindness and ignore them the effects could melt away the detractors...

:-) I love this group.

I noticed a few trolls when I first joined about a week ago. I even responded to one (I know better now). Fortunately, I've noticed that there are a lot more great people on this board than there are trolls. In the future, I plan to just ignore them. Fortunately, my skin is pretty thick, and I really couldn't care less what a stranger thinks of me, so they don't bother me. I would just hate for them to scare someone off who could really use the help and support that these boards provide.

Ignore them, and if you're slightly vindictive...report them...like I did... ;-)
