I've been thinking about this recently as well. Many years ago (I'm an older fart) I would have been adamantly opposed to any sort of cosmetic surgery. But as the years go by, I have become, shall we say, more open minded about the subject *wink*

I have a very small chest compared to the rest of me. Right now, at about 5'7", 260 lbs, I have a 40B chest and the Bs are really too big (but I can't find an A in this size...it's difficult enough to find a B in this size).

I'm with Shawna- I'm not "ANTI-plastic surgery" but it just isn't for me.

well, being from s.california, you can't throw a rock without hitting somebody who hasn't had plastic surgery. I have clients who work behind the scenes on movie sets for long running tv shows, they usually have to have things done to continue working.I can think of ten people in my circle alone who have had breast lifts,or additions. My sisters were both back to work within days of having the procedure done. yes it hurt, but it was not excrutiating pain. If I had the money I would do the breast lift, not sure about the tummy tuck. a tummy tuck is a time consuming procedure. It runs 4 to 6 hours in the or. The plastic surgeon told my sister that tummy tucks are very painful. That makes me nervous being under anesthesia that long. The breast augmuntation is much shorter. my sister was in for over an hour, but less than 2. The frozen face look usually comes from those toxin injections, and not from the regular face lift. unless you have had excessive face lifts, you usually end up without the frozen face look. personally i prefer to try to avoid the sun like the plague, rather than go through a face lift. After my best friend died from tanning, I never leave the house without a spf of at least 12 on my face and arms. I would jump at the chance to have my acne scars removed off my face. I would also do the breast lift. Ive never had anything done yet, but once at goal weight I will be considering it.

Despite wearing a 42D, my breasts are surprisingly perky still. I mean, I don't pass the pencil test or anything, but I think they look pretty good. I have no idea how much smaller my cup size will get as I lose weight. When I weighed 190 three years ago I was wearing a 40D. My bra size changed from a 36B at the age of 15 to where it is now, 8 years later, so I don't know how much of my size is a result of being overweight and how much is just the normal process of puberty.

But to answer your question, no I wouldn't consider a procedure like a tummy tuck or a breast lift. I have a low threshold for pain and the thought of voluntarily going under the knife for vanity is not appealing. However, I am already noticing fine lines/smile lines around my eyes and on my cheek, and I would consider a relatively painless procedure (Botox? We'll see) in about 10-15 years.

Jess, you may lose some inches, but not cup sizes.

Hi! I'm new and I have lurked here off and on for a couple of years. I HAD a tummy tuck after I lost my weight and I'm glad I did. I had a pooch that hung down quite a bit. I lost about 140 lbs over the course of 4 years and My skin went back except for my tummy.
