Hi Everyone,

My name is Karen. Im 27 , married with 2 little girls. I emmigrated here to Toronto about 6 yrs ago from Ireland.

Well I must say that im a huge procrastinater, am lazy and know exactly what I should be doing to get fit and healthy but just can't seem to find the will power. Its really frustrating, Ive been saying to myself every night after Ive completely wiped out all of the chocolate thats in the house that tomorrow is the day that everything is going to be better but that never seems to happen. I always say that there's always tomorrow!!!!!!

I weigh 210 and I feel disgusting, enough to the point that something has to be done and Im looking for someone to help me, someone to reply to this and when i read it tomorrow it might just hit the right spot and give me the encouragement to let tomorrow be the day that I change my eating habits.

Hi! First of all, let me say I am terribly jealous that you LIVED in Ireland! My great-grandparents were Irish and I have always hoped to visit someday.

Now, let me introduce myself to you.

My name is Mel and I am 26. I have 2 kids- son 8 and daughter 6- and I am married. I totally understand lacking the motivation to begin, and a big part of it is that we have been the way we are for so long that it's scary to change. I agree with FlyLady- we kinda sabotage ourselves with this wacked out perfectionism - we have been told not to do something if we can't do it right, so we think if there's a chance we won't do it right we just don't start. Seriously, we have NOTHING to lose but the weight we hate and the negative feelings we carry.

Hi Karen.

First of all, welcome!!! We are glad to have you here!

Second, do you have a plan of action? Any certain exercise or diet plan you plan to use? I recommend getting a personal nutritionist/dietition. That has helped me a lot.
