Loose Saggy Skin

Is there anyone in here that is at their goal weight and had to lose 70 lbs or so. I have to lose 70 lbs. But I'm afraid that after I lose the weight I may have loose or saggy skin. Of course this will not keep me from losing the weight but it is a little disheartening to think that after working so hard to get the body I want that I may have this hanging skin. Please share your stories and experiences and tell me how much weight you lost, your age and if you did any weight training. Thanks so much!

If you lose slowly and incorporate lots of strength training into your exercise routine (which you should be doing anyways) saggy skin can be minimized. Also be sure to moisturize every day.

I have lost over 65 pounds at this point. I do weight training, and have no saggy skin on my chest at all. My under portions of my arms are a bit saggy, but when i started to increase my weight training in that area it really improved dramiticly. Ive had three kids and my tummy is a bit saggy. So are my girlfriends who are thin and never had weight issues. I neglect my abs when i work out so no surprise there, plus i carried a disproportionate amount of my weight in my tummy. a year ago in march was when I think n i started to get serious about losing weight. So its been about a year, which is rather slow compared to the people i saw on tv. most of the people i see on tv who have disfiguring saggy skin have had quik weight loss via gastric bypass,on 500 cal. a day intake. They lost so fast the skin couldnt bounce back, hence, extreme sagginess.Ive yet been able to sit through a full tv show so i may be wrong though. my skinny friend who has always been a size 5 has a very saggy tummy and breasts. she has had 3 kids. hope this was helpful..............jenz
