Hey! I haven't seen you around...how are things? Still going strong on Atkins? What's up?

*waving* I'm here! Hiya, Mel!

Work started up last week (I teach) so I've pretty much been reduced to lurking. I hate it when work gets in the way! LOL

I'm still following Atkins...no cheats on any sugar or flour...I probably ate more veggies on induction than "allowed," and I still drink my coffee. I successfully resisted pizza tonight (darn hubby). So it's going fine. I haven't been exercising like I know I should, and that's probably why I didn't lose a single pound the second week *sigh*. So, I'm still holding at a 6 pound loss on Atkins (10 pounds down from my highest).

Have you started adding in foods? I've snuck in 5 almonds here and there, and I continue to eat more veggies than induction levels.

I saw your message below about your size celebration...WTG!!!! Great job!!

Keep up the good work, and thanks for asking about me! Teethy

I haven't added anything new yet- I want to do induction til I am TOTALLY not wanting the carbs. I have been doing well, but I don't trust myself with some foods yet.

Congrats on resisting the pizza! I was offered macadamia nut cookies from subway where my sis and I had dinner (lowcarb wraps). I said no thank you, and managed not to feel resentful so I was happy about that.

Hope to see more of you soon!

Coffee, you do know that you can enjoy pizza with the family, just don't eat the crust!! I do it all the time and then get bitched at by my DD for wasting the crust. LOL :-)Stephanie 270/230/170 Atkid since 6/15/2003

You know, I tried that with one piece, but it was so unsatisfying. *sigh* The crust

Good for you on resisting cookies! Remember to get your veggies along with the carbs in the wrap.

I really think my TOM will be here any minute, so that also may be part of the no weight loss (at least I can hope). And I had been doing FINE about having no urges to eat anything illegal until a few days ago (which is probably also a TOM symptom). I just can't wait till AF gets here so I can move on with this! ARGH! ;-)

Do you have a Donato's around you?? I think it is them, they are making a crustless pizza. Can you believe it?? :-) Stephanie 280/230/170 Atkid since 6/15/2003

Is this pizza that is just missing the thick crust at the end or no crust at all?

Unfortunately, no Donato's anywhere near us. I could make my own crustless pizza if I wanted, I suppose, but take-out is so much easier! Probably won't be long until Dominos and Pizza Hut jump on the bandwagon, though!

I'm guessing it's no crust at all if it's Atkins. A whole wheat crust would work after you're past the first phase or two, but not often. White flour is a big no-no!

Low Carb Creations makes a ready-made low carb frozen pizza that you just pop in the oven like a regular one.
