It's been a long time....

Well it's been a very long time since I've been here. About 5 years back I began W.W.s & lost a considerable amount of weight. Towards the end of that weight loss journey I joined this community also. When I stopped losing weight I soon quit W.W.s and posting.
3 years ago I joined my nieghborhood Y and ever since then I workout 3-5 times a week. I walk, hike, snow shoe, stair step, cycle, do water fitness and the Eliptical machine. When I workout I always sweat like crazy and have a tendancy to over-do...I enjoy squashing peoples conception of " The Large". When I first joined the Y, I weighed 271 and now weigh 287. My eating habits are poor at best. I like to eat out to much.
I tried W.W.s again last year but could not make it work. I've decided to take another stab at this. Hopefully this site can boost my motivation and get me losing again. I'd also like to get a journal buddy and make some new friends.

I too used to stop by this board once in a while, long ago. I have since then gotten off track and feel quite crappy about it. I had to have a physical today and was not very happy about the results. Need to get started again!
I used to be one who "squashed peoples conception of 'The Large'" but have recently started feeling older and slower than I should. I have too much to do and see to be tired all the time, as I am sure everyone here does too.
I am an on-line member of W.W. because, although I really wish I could, I cannot attend meetings. I really miss the meetings, though. This board was so good for me before and helped me lose a good amount of weight, hopefully this board and W.W. will help us do it again!
