i have a question for those who keep track of foods eaten/calories..how many do you have a day? The body challenge website told me for my weight i should be eating 1419 for moderate cardio and weights exercise, was 1451 before i lost the 12 lbs..AGH..lol..and then if i do light cardio it should be 1233. Just curious caus everyone on the board seems to be doing so GOOD =)

I am doing the Discovery Health Challenge and my recommended caloric intake is 1200 so I have been trying to stick to that.

I try to keep my calorie intake under 2000 most days of the week, but every once in a while I slip and have a day like this past Thursday (2600 calories! Yikes!). I'm working out 90 minutes a day four to five days a week.

You said you work out 90 mins. I'm curious to know your workout routine. I get so bored after 30-45 mins I want to quit.

The first 60 minutes are two intense cardio routines: elliptical, stationary bike, recumbent bike, stair climber, rower. The last 30 minutes I walk on a treadmill or around the track (I prefer the treadmill). Sometimes I drop the walking and lift weights for about 45 minutes or so.

thanks i have been trying for 1450 my average is and working out 30-60 min. daily. And dang Susan 1200 calories i don't think i could stick to that for too long..lol
