I was told a long time ago how to think about the weight we all lose...so I am going to share how I imagine my first 70 pounds

70 pounds

9 pounds of butter

15 pounds of hamburger

8 pounds of ham

10 pounds of potatoes

2 WHOLE turkeys (10 pounds)

10 can refried beans (5 pounds)

48 Pepsis/Dr Peppers (4 pounds)

6 Tubs of icing (3 pounds)

100 Cookies different flavors (3 pounds)

5 gallons of fudge ripple ice cream (3 pounds)

So think ever time you lose 5-7 pounds you have dropped a frozen turkey!! Every 10 pounds is a bag of potatoes! I look at those foods now and think of that!

Mmmmm icing *drool*.....just kidding. Visualizations help me too. Especially those ones on the Special K commercials with the steak and potatos!

When I went to WW meetings, there was this group that I made friends with, and we meet at a park and each of us brought the amount of weight we lost in food.

What a good idea! The extra weight on your back made the walk more challenging, too. I'll have to remember that.
