So I finally got my application approved for the Y Center (thank heavens for their financial aid program or I'd NEVER have been able to afford it!!!) and began what I HOPE will be my new regime today. :-)

I ate 2 boiled eggs for breakfast, then I dropped the kids off at school, and then headed to the Y. I spent a half hour on the treadmill and a half hour in the pool. I had a BLC (bacon, lettuce and no carb mayo on two slices of sharp cheese as "bread") Then this afternoon I picked the kids up and they played basketball while I did half an hour in the weight room and then another half hour in the pool, followed by 15 mins in the sauna. I LOVE swimming and winter's one drawback is that it keeps me out of the water....except for Polar Bear days ;-) Then we came home and I made grilled chicken salads for dinner and now I am getting ready to work on my house.

I REALLY feel great and I had a great day!

That's awesome! It's going to be a tough adjustment when I graduate next year and have to buy a private gym membership...the university's rec center was remodeled five years ago and has awesome equipment that's hard to find in most private gyms.

Glad you had a great workout, and I bet the whole family will love going!

Yep. It works great because the kids don't have to wait in the cold at the busstop since I am driving them to school, DH gets his last bit of sleep undisturbed by me putting around, and after school the kids get their *(&*( and vinegar out on the bball court so coming home today was MUCH calmer. LOL!

Yep- but it's freaking out my normal schedule to fit in so much of it!

lol- No more napping after the kids go to school. Drop em of, to the Y, home, clean up, cook for DH, kick him off to work, pick up kids, back to Y, home, cook, clean,

Much less computer time, which means less time HERE, but it feels good to be a little hurried rather than feel like a slug.

that's great that your keeping it up and doing so much! I am starting back at the Y tomorrow, dang school cancelations..lol..and i told my dd i'd take her swimming on Tuesdays there to try and help her learn to swim. So hopefully i will get myself moving, i've been a house hermit just staying home and working out here. Congrats again!
