That was a good article. What shocked me was this figure:
"A study published in Pediatrics in June showed that 40 percent of 1-to-5-year-olds had a television set in their bedrooms."
What???!!! Why do children that young need TVs in their bedrooms? Aside from the effect that might have on their activity level, what about their imaginations? It's just plain sad.
my sister's ex-friend has a daughter who's 2 or 3 and she has a tv in her bedroom, the mother sends her in there to watch tapes/tv. I find it disgusting. The mother also just got pregnant with #2 to trap a bf. so sad that people are like that
My niece is 5 and she has a television, vcr, and DVD player. To top all of that off her favorite type of movie to watch is HORROR flicks?!?!?!?! Can you imagine? She LOVES the Halloween movies. I don't understand how my brother can let her watch that! She also likes Dora the Explorer. Go figure.
Do they have this online?
