Well, I'm not on the Atkins, I am on a low-fat diet, so that doesn't help me. GEEZ APRIL! lol, and I thought you were my pal! you don't know me at all!! And yes I can leave, but I prefer to bring my lunch..it's cheaper and easier and all my friends and I eat together everyday so..

One of my favorite lunches is to use pita bread, salad fixings, and some grilled chicken and some lf dressing. Sorta like the one served at Chili's restaurant? It's yummy.
Louis Rich makes some prepackaged grilled chicken that makes it loads easier, and it's tasty. This way you get some veggies, grains, and protein, and you can make it all premade/assembled and all ya gotta do is eat away! LOL.
Or you could do a salad w/ a sprinkle of cheese and load it up w/ all sorts of fresh veggies. It's easy and very portable.
I'm thinkin' of other things for ya that are "work" friendly..so give me a bit! :)

LMAO I ammmm your pal SARA!!! hahaha I just thought the low carb Subs
looked good..Im not on atkins either but I want to try them for sure..I've never been good at meal preps and so on
I also like Progresso Lentil soup (1 cup for 3 points but really high fiber) and I like to have crackers so I buy reduced fat wheat thins (16 of them for 3 ww points I usually only eat 8)
I have also used Lean Pockets (ham and cheese) with cut up fresh veggies. I have had the I think it is by boca burger company its a sausage (like smoked or polish sausage) w/kraut I was surprised how good it was.
sorry I am kind of a traditional lunch person like you. GOOD LUCK!

I take it, this is packing for work? And you have a microwave? The choices are endless, really. You say you're burned on soup. Well, I'm eating at home today and while I'm out I have a crockpot on with some *stockpot* brand ministrone soup in it. It's a gourmet brand out of Redmond, WA and I love it, 160 calories per serving and 5 g. fat (per cup) and I'll have 2 cups for lunch, with maybe an apple.
But let's see, about you and packing lunch. Have you ever tried making a huge sandwich with those gigantic portabello mushrooms? Those things are fantastic, and a 3 ounce HUGE mushroom (takes the place of bread if you like) has something like 20 calories. Take a portabello, add tomato, onion, and maybe a crab cake or gardenburger, and some horsie mustard. And then pop the whole thing into your microwave at work. Obviously, a huge sandwich that way is WELL UNDER 300 calories and virtually no fat...so have a salad, some fruit, some soup or another side dish with it. Probably more food than you can comfortably eat, and very filling.
I'd make other suggestions, but I don't know what you LIKE to eat. The easiest thing for you to do, is just get cracking on your old favorites but experiment with ways to take the fat out of them.
I'm not going to attack you lol.

Watch out for those prepared meals---lots of sodium! I used to bring salad (shaken w/dressing), some fruit and cheese w/crackers. In the cold--homemade soups or something left over that I could nuke.
HOpe this helps.
