Hi, I don't think I've met you, welcome to the 100+ board.

I have a personal nutritionist and I have lost about 13 lbs so far since October. I should have lost a lot more by now, but I slacked off a lot b/c of Christmas and some personal problems....but now I am back on course and prepared to lose it all.

80 pounds that is alot! How long did it take you?

I have been on SBD since Jan 5, I lost 14.5 pounds up until last week and then I had a rough weekend and gained back a pound. I don't totally understand sb perfectly. I am watching my carbs real close but not the fat and that is not so good I guess! I am just afraid that once I stop doing it I will gain it back, because this weekend I didn't do too awful bad and I gained a pound! I guess I am wishing for a fast and easy fix!

Hey Jen, good to meet you!

My nutritionist, who is awesome by the way, gave me a personalized diet, and I keep everything I eat in a food journal. Every Tuesday, I go see her. We weigh, go over what I've eaten, and talk about fitness. Then she gives me a big hug, and I'm on my way. It's great b/c she is SUCH a good person and she motivates me so much.

Also, if you want to see success stories or anything, a lot of us have websites. You asked about Shawna's 80 lbs. Go see her website. It's linked on her signature. Go see how frikin awesome she's done and how great she looks.

Hi Jen! First of all welcome! I'm not doing any formal plan, just trying to eat healthier, and watch my portion sizes. I don't do too well with restricted plans. I just get frustrated and resentful that I can't eat something. This way, I feel like it's my choice not to eat something, not someone else telling me I can't (I hope that makes sense lol!) It takes discipline, which I tend to struggle with, but so far it's working for me. I've lost 7.5 pounds since the beginning of January. Not quite as much as you, but at least I'm heading in the right direction! I'm also drinking LOTS of water, and exercising 3-4 times a week. It's hard trying to figure out what works best for you. The only thing I can say is, keep trying until you find what does work for you. And you can always come to us if you need any advice or just someone to talk to.
