Well, it's unlikely that it is a food borne illness as you got symptoms that night (food borne illnes takes days, sometimes weeks to show symptoms).

This is a shot in the dark, but you couldn't possibly be pregnant could you? Could also maybe be anemia. A few years ago I had my period for about 6 months straight and got anemia and my symptoms were very similar. I was weak all the time, no energy, migraines, headrushes. But...these are all very common symptoms that could be attributed to a number of things. You better get to the doctor lady!

Shawna, you may want to look into switching bc methods if this happens when you forget. I'm taking Yasmin bc pills. Have been taking them for about 6 mos now. Besides these pills I'm taking don't cause weight gain and they really regulate your period. I had to take something for the cramps I was having and these have been a God send. Plus my b/f and I don't use condoms or any other protection and no babies here!! *KNOCK on wood*

I hope you feel better!! Keep us posted..k?

The only time I ever got headrushes was when I was pregnant.

I was told that headrushes = pregnancy (sometimes) so I took a test to prove those people wrong. haha. They proved me wrong. Oh well!

I got pregnant on birth control too. I'm thinking of getting the Depo shot but I don't have to worry about it right now because my boyfriend works away most of the time (he's only home 1 week out of 4).

Another thing that you could do is do a herbal body cleanse (from the health food store). When I get sick or don't feel right it means my body is trying to tell me something. A build up of toxins can sure have the same symptoms. I use ReCleanse but I think you can only buy it in Canada (www.recleanse.com) but you can check out their website to see what it's about if you want.

Good luck and keep us informed as to how you feel!

Hope you get better soon!

Dana, i wouldn't recommend the depo if you want children in the future! it is just not good for your body! i used it for 2 years and it took me 5 years to get pregnant and then i had a miscarriage! just my 2 cents!

Dana, I strongly urge you NOT to get Depo Provera. I used it for 8 yrs and I now have an awful skin disease. It's not very known and the direct cause is not known, but I didn't get this until about a yr on the DP. Alot of women with this disease also used DP. I gained all my weight while on it too. A friend of mine used DP for about a yr and quit. She has been continually bleeding since. It's been about 4 months since she went off. Not to mention the cramps she has. I've heard so many horror stories. In fact I think I still have a link to a message board about it. Please look into this hard before taking it.
