Okay, ladies. I have lurked, I have posted and now I'm pleading. Let these posters who want to "stir the pot" just be ignored. They don't listen, they keep repeating the same things over and over, and although they are adding drama---well, we've all got enough inour lives, don't we.

I want to lose weight, not argue or debate w/people who won't listen to anyone but themselves.

I know I'm not a "CL" (or what ever our leaders are called), but I'm a poster, I love this board, and I admire all of you guys for your support.

Lets leave them alone and maybe they'll go away.

They still have drive ins? I think they closed them all around here. I remember going to the drive in as a kid, but we don't have any around here anymore.

Coldwater, Michigan has a drive-in called the Capri Drive-In. It's so great! I had never been to one til a few years ago. It's pretty much in the middle of a cornfield. I do NOT recommend seeing scary alien movies that prominently feature cornfields while at this sort of drive-in. (SIGNS!) You will not be able to walk to the bathroom to pee by yourself while you are looking for the slinky scary aliens to jump out at you.

They had great deals- Tuesdays a carload is 10 bucks and you get to movies, so we'd load into my friends van, go there and tune radios to whichever flick we wanted to see.

My hometown has a drive-in movie theater. It costs $8.00 per car, and they show two films back-to-back. I've only been there once, though.

I love the two-movies deal. There's apparently a drive in near where I live now (Illinois) and for Labor Day and Memorial Day they have a dusk-to-dawn showing where they play movies from sundown to sunup. I am REALLY looking forward to that one.
