Well, the doc and I just got off the phone...hmmm looks like I can't do hard cardio.

So ladies, do you know of any great toning and low impact exercises that I can do at home when I am not doing other things?

I can't think of anything off the top of my head. If I have time I just go for a short walk or jump rope. I have a great jump rope that counts calories burned.

It's all new to me...oh oh I might be provoking a troll or lurker that is mean.

I have not had to think about it before and just did whatever. But since I share my dad's birth defect my heart is slowly dying and i have to deal with that weakness at the same time trying to strengthen it. Talk about the organ acting like a man!!

Thanks though...jump rope huh? Now if i can manage to control the boobage and not break my nose....:)

LOL! Reign those puppies in with a super lycra sports bra! My jump rope was made by Bally's and is even pretty red... :-)

Hey Karrie I think Pilates would be good for you..it is low impact but works your muscles..it might be worth a try ? Good luyck sweety!

2 sports bras!!!!!! Talk about a minimizer. Thanks for the suggestions ya'll. I am going to YMCA this friday and set up the schedule. I finally have the funds to do this

Walking? Cleaning house? A little light stair climbing in the course of the day? But surely if the doctor told you that you CAN'T do certain exercises, he also told you what you CAN do??? If he didn't tell you that, call him back.
