But today I decided that I will no longer be posting my stats in my signature until I reach my goal.

Hey chica!!

I support your decision. But don't forget you are doing great and though you may not be losing like you want to you are not gaining either. That alone is a victory. HUGS!!!! And remember if anyone picks on you, I got your back.

Hey Shawna!

I'm a little late, it sounds like you're feeling better by now. But I wanted to say this anyway.

I'm so sorry that it has come to this. You shouldn't be made to feel that way with all you've accomplished! In fact you are my inspiration. You are what made me join this board. After reading your story and your posts I felt that losing this weight was something I could do. Not to mention the support you've given to me and everyone here. You are the one that keeps me from giving up.

I congratulate you and stand behind you 100% with regards to these bozos. Don't let anyone take away your pride. Don't let them win. It is your choice whether or not to post your stats, and whatever you choose is cool with us. But if it means that much to you, then screw them! Post your stats with your head high. SO WHAT you didn't lose it all in 5 mos. SO WHAT it's taking a little longer to lose the last 17. You have acheived what most of us are aching to acheive. Stand tall girl! Don't let them win! K? :)

BIG HUGS!!!!

Hey Shawna, sorry to be logging in a lil' bit late here. I totally support your decision.

You need to do what you need in order to see yourself to your goal. Weight loss is such a personal thing, and when one chooses to share their journey, even the not-so glamourous parts makes me see that I can do it too. It's just proof that not one of us is perfect and that it IS possible to reach our goals thru hard work and perserverance. It doesn't matter how we do it as long as we consciously choose to educate ourselves for betterment of our futures. Having the support of friends here who go thru the same daily trials and tribulations makes it much more bearable. I, for one don't think I could continue w/out being able to see that I am not alone.

It's sad that some people feel the need to drag others down in the midst of their glory.

I'm sorry that you've been the brunt of many ugly comments and accusations regarding your weight loss journey. Personally, I think you're story is inspiring and you continue to motivate me. I'm more than sure I'm not alone in this sentiment.

Keep up the great work Shawna, you WILL see your goal in no time. I support whatever it takes for you to feel comfortable doing it. We're all here for you.

hugs,

~danielle~

This is the internet…. And within cyber hell you will find morons that are jealous…I always found it funny the lengths some of them will go to to try and get attention … misery loves company and they enjoy when they are being noticed I know sometimes its hard to hold the tongue but I would use it to laugh because they have nothing better to do with their sorry little lives but to come here when real women maybe some men? Not sure about all our members genders… come here to better them selves…… I always enjoyed seeing your stats because it made me think wow she did it I can do it to! I would give anything to be in your place now…… but I respect your choice as long as your not leaving the board….. On the mean time flip them the bird….. ,,!,, lol

What was your problem with losing weight? Your post seems to indicate some problem in reaching goal? It's not hard to lose weight, or to gain it for that matter. If you want to lose weight and do it in a reasonable amount of time just practice good food habits every day, and it happens automatically.

I would pay no attention to hateful posts. Those that try to make you feel crappy about yourself do so because they feel like s*** themselves. It makes them feel better about themselves to tear others down. Be proud of what you have accomplished.

On a side note, you may have a goal in mind but your body may be it's fittest at whatever weight you are at now. And if you are comfortable that may be a sign that you are at the weight you need to be. Just some food for thought.;)
