Hi all!

I decided to make a scrapbook for my DH. He's such an angel and he's really made the best of a really difficult time lately. I found a really pretty one with a rose on the front that says Memories, and I LOVE it. So far I have included the tickets and program from our first date (Camelot the musical), some phone cards that he's saved 5 years that he used to call me when he lived in IL and I lived in MI, a few letters we exchanged, movie tix, and some dried flowers and a card and ribbon from flowers he sent me "just because".

The thing is, I have LOTSA pages left, and I want to include some neat and creative things for him. Any suggestions?

Hmmm...skip the scrapbook! Give him a lap dance!!! He'll really like that! *wink*

No JK!! Umm...how about things from the kids, things they've made in school, stuff you've made him, letters, love notes, things like that.

Thanks ladies- great ideas. When he called on his lunch break I asked him if I could look in his box for some stuff and he reluctantly gave me permission. I can't believe the things he's saved. He has the engraved pocketwatch I gave him as an engagement gift, seashells we picked from the beach together, some pictures of me I sent him when he was at boot camp, many letters I have left, given, sent or hidden for him, and every card I have given him for every holiday. I thought he tossed this stuff! I sat here and cried- of course I did, I am apparently incapable of NOT crying over EVERYTHING- but it was seriously so sweet. I am going to include lots of things and I just know he'll love it.

Oh and the lap dance... :-) *GRIN* Didn't I say redheads were having more fun in my house?

I love I mean LOVEEE..scrapbooking...My sister has the best i have ever seen and it cost her mom almost 200 to make but Im sure you dont want to go that far..ok..like dedicate one page to one child and have them write him a letter to put on the opposite page of their pictures and artwork and you can print out their letter or to make it even more meaningful put it in there with their own handwriting..how sweet !!....that alone will take up 4 pages...and then you can do the same like say for his parents and have them write a letter or note or poem and so on and so forth..I thinkt hats a wonderful idea for a gift for him and I just know he is going to love it with you putting so much time and thought into it ..Hugs and let us know how he likesit!

That's a great idea! I will send emails out to his fam tonight. His bday is in May and if I get everything in the next few weeks I know I will have it all ready way before then- or maybe give it to him at Easter insted of a basket this year.

You guys are great!
