OK- I MUST share this crazy story from my Jazzercise class:

I usually go to the 4:45 class, which is smaller and fun. Monday I was running late, and went to the 6:30 class instead. I noticed right away that there were lots more people there, and I had to stand WAAAY in the back (yuck). Then I noticed the ladies in front of me. They were making very rude comments about other people in the class, and all I could think was "I deal with attitude like that from 9 year olds all day, I don't want to listen to it from adults, too!" They also commented about how they wanted to start their own class (which is hilarious, b/c they were quite uncoordinated, and didn't seem to know their right from left). SO, I told myself I would make sure to leave work on time from now on, so I could continue with my small, nice class at 445.

WELL... Yesterday, I went to my 445 class, and the instructor says she has important news. These women have been BANNED from coming to our classes because of their ugly attitude and rude comments. When they found out on monday, they hung out in the parking lot and then KEYED the instructors car! The police and Jazzercise district offices have been notified. If we see them on the premises, we are to tell the instructors, call the police, or "beat them up" -lol.

Now, these are grown women- probably about 35 years old. I was just SHOCKED that women would act this way!! Like their attitude wasn't bad enough, but KEYING a car??? That is so JUVENILE!

I told the instructor what I'd thought of them, and she said she was glad they were gone, for my sake and everyone else's. Now I don't have to worry about running late!! hahaha

I am still in shock, and have told everyone I know! I would be so EMBARRASSED to be banned from anywhere. Wow.

Anyways- Hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL Friday!

Love ya,

Tina

Oh my.........the funny thing is I can't even picture them as adults. In my mind I just see two high school girls (you know the ones I'm talking about!). Thats really, really sad!

Were they making rude comments about other people or the instructor?

Welcome, Rainout! I haven't noticed you here before... Nice to meet you.

If you reread my post, I never mention speaking with these people. That's because I did not speak to them. I certainly do not make a point of associating with immature, annoying people.

To address your second point, the instructor mentioned it to us because there is a restraining order, and if we saw them in the parking lot or something she wants to know. I personally am glad she told us. Now I can go to whatever class I want, AND I don't have to worry about corssing paths with someone who might decide to damage my property!

My Jazzercise class (like MANY others if you know anything about the company) is held in the rec room of a local church. No, the church does not have surveilence equipment in the parking lot. Does your church have cameras in the parking lot? That would be nice, I'm sure.

Finally, when I feel like sharing a FUNNY story, which this essentially was, I don't feel the need to have my character attacked for it, okay? If you have specific fitness or weight loss advice to share, fine. If you are seeking the same, fine... but I certainly don't come here to have my character, or that of my acquaintances, questioned.

Thanks,

Tina

A statement isn't defamatory if it's true. Just so you know.

I've had my (then 2 month old car) keyed in the gym parking lot. It's laughable that Rainout thinks that surveillance cameras would help anything.
