I said arms because I would really like to wear some sleeveless shirts/dresses and such! Without my big arms flapping in the wind!

Aww c'mon April! I'd give anything for a JLo booty! Mines more like a table! I always used to make fun of my mom's flat butt....what goes around.... :\

I voted tummy though.. I would love to wear a pair of hip hugger jeans (or any jeans)and a cute little shirt that shows just a little skin and not have to tuck in or cover up my pouch!!!!!!

I hate my thighs. They are pretty much solid muscle except for the very inside...and I hate that. When I do exercises where I have to spread out my legs, I get self conscious b/c I think that they are so fat...but they have gotten a lot smaller....every other part of my body I can deal with...

According to my dr. the main reason I carry most of my weight in my lower abdomen is because of the PCOS and insulin resistance- both contribute to that. I HATE IT, so I voted tummy.

As for my legs, my legs are in pretty good shape. My upper inner thighs are a little softer than I'd like but I have ALWAYS made sure at least my legs are in shape because I have a tattoo on the outer side of each leg and I never wanted my pretty pics to stretch out. LOL! I think my activities when I was younger helped my legs be predisposed to staying muscle-y too.

Mel,

If you don't mind my asking....What's PCOS? I keep seeing you talk about it, but I can't figure out what it is. :)

This is going to be a long one, sorry. Polycystic ovarian syndrome.

this is from the www.pcosupport.org page

"PCOS=

* Is also known as Stein-Leventhal Syndrome or Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD).

* Affects an estimated 6-10% of all women and most don't even know they have it.

* Is treatable, but not curable, by medications, changes in diet and exercise.

* Is one of the leading causes of infertility in women.

* Has been identified for 75 years and they still aren't sure what causes it.

* Affects far more than just reproduction.

* IT IS NOT just a cosmetic problem.

Can include the following symptoms:

* Irregular or absent menses

* Numerous cysts on the ovaries in many, but not all, cases

* High blood pressure

* Acne

* Elevated insulin levels, Insulin Resistance, or Diabetes

* Infertility

* Excess hair on the face and body

* Thinning of the scalp hair (alopecia)

* Weight Problems or obesity that is centered around your mid section

And if anyone is interested, here's a quiz about it, also from www.pcosupport.org:

Section 1: Menstrual Irregularities

Score one point for each item unless otherwise indicated:

When not on birth control pills, do you have or have you ever had any of the following problems:

Eight or fewer periods per year

No periods for an extended period of time (4 or more months)

Irregular bleeding that starts and stops intermittently

Fertility problems

(Score 2 points if you have seen a fertility specialist or been treated with fertility drugs to induce ovulation.)

Section 2: Skin Problems

Score one point for each item unless otherwise indicated:

Adult acne, or severe adolescent acne

Excess facial or body hair, especially upper lip, chin, neck, chest and/or abdomen

Skin tags

Balding or thinning hair

Dark or discolored patches of skin on your neck, groin, under arms or in skin folds.

(Score 2 points if you answer yes to this question.)

Section 3: Weight and Insulin-Based Problems

Score one point for each item unless otherwise indicated:

Excess weight or difficulty maintaining weight

(Score 2 points if your excess weight is centered around your middle)

Sudden unexplained weight gain

Shaking, lack of concentration, uncontrollable hunger and/or mood swings 2 or more hours after a meal

Type II Diabetes

(Score 2 points if you answer yes to this question)

Family history of Type II Diabetes, Heart Disease or Hypertension

Section 4: Related Problems*

*Although there is little or no documented research, many women with PCOS have experienced the following problems.

Place a check mark next to each applicable item in this section.

Migraines

Depression and/or anxiety

Rapid pulse and/or irregular heartbeat

Pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes or excess amniotic fluid "

SCORING:

0 - 4 points

Although PCOS is possible, it is much less likely for you than for those scoring higher.

5 - 9 points

If you are concerned about your health and score in this range, you may want to consider talking to your doctor about the possibility of PCOS, as well as other disorders.

10 - 15 points

PCOS is a syndrome, not a disease, and most women experience some but not all of the problems listed above. The majority of women who are diagnosed with PCOS score in this range. If you scored in this range you should see a doctor about the possibility that you have PCOS.

15 - 20 points

A score this high warrants urgent consultation with a doctor for PCOS or other endocrine-related disorders.

I picked thighs although arms are a close second. I would have picked butt, but I've always had a little 'junk in my trunk' even at 130lbs, so while I expect to trim it down I suspect it will always have J-Lo proportions (who better to model your butt after?).

Can you hear the Sir-Mix-Alot playing in the background? "I LIKE BIG BUTTS and I cannot lie..........."

I said tummy, but if you had an option that said "all of the above" I definitely would have voted for that one!!
