I am fighting a flare up of IBS. I was craving red meat, which I don't eat at all and only very rarely, and I have been fighting a sick tummy ever since.
I am also rather fustrated with this whole eating right and NOT losing anything. We are going to talk about uping my thyroid to see if that will help my metabolism speed up.
I also wanted to warn ya'll that I will be very emotional today. We are going to see the Passion tonight and I am already tearing up and feeling the emotion.
I hope everyone is doing well today!
PS. for Lent I am going to walk or exercise everyday. It takes 40 days to make a lifestyle change so here I go. But ya'll not only will I have accountability here I really believe I will need more, so feel free and nag me into this. :)

I firmly believe the old saying the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, and Lent to me seems to be a way to truss up that weak flesh and make it do what it's supposed to for a bit. Hopefully the weaknesses become strengths over time.
I hope you enjoy the movie- I plan to see it with some relatives this weekend.

I don't care for the Lent music so much either. I am very much a Christmas music kinda girl. I always liked the Joy to the World genre.
My small group is doing Lent because of the study we are beginning. My other one is to read the Bible everyday. I think a chapter a night will be a good start and I should be finished next year at this time.
Mel, You got it girl. I will nag you if you nag me. About to up my minutes on my cell so people can call me all the time and nag me too. :)

I am out the door now- time to go let someone make me get dirty. I am the one who refuses to dump my husband's ash tray because I don't like the smell and ick of ashes. Now I am gonna let someone put them on my head. It's a crazy world.
