Hey Shawna, yeh I have a goal system in place for every 20 pounds I lose.

It goes like this

20 - Get my nails done

40 - Get a tanning package

60 - Go to a spa

80 - Don't laugh - Buy and wear a pair of cowboy boots

100 - Take a trip

I will have to add some more if I am going to go with weight watchers goal weight. Still haven't decided if I really want to get that low.

Only 1 more pound till my nails!!!!

I have no goal/reward system. I think that I feel it's too difficult and I don't want to hold myself responsible. Especially if I don't reach a goal. That's bad huh? Hmmm, I just feel that professionally in my job I have so many goals to reach on a daily/weekly/monthly basis...I'm sick of goals! As far as rewards...I'm one of those gals who buys what I want, when I want it. I get my nails done weekly and already go tanning and have regular spa treatments...I swear I'm not terribly shallow, I promise. So now what do I do??????

Ugh...ya got me thinking! I hate that!!!!!!!

Personally, I don't do "reward systems." I think being a healthy weight, and enjoying each day along the way, is its own reward. And for me, that's enough. Warm in Biloxi the first part of April?? I wouldn't worry too much about being white then, if I were you. Everyone is coming out of winter, so you won't be the only pale one. Personally, "tanning packages" I would worry about; healthwise. But have fun on your trip.

Every 5 pounds that I lose I get a new charm on my Italian Charm Bracelet. That way I don't spend a ton of money on stupid little charms and each charm will have meaning. Everytime I look at my wrist I ask myself, "Will I make good choices today and get a charm after a 5 pound loss? Or do I want to have a bracelet with only 4 little charms on it forever?".

My ultimate goal at the end will be to get my teeth whitened professionally. I've always had really white teeth but I have off-white spots on some of my teeth. When I was little, my aunt had awesome tasting bubblegum toothpaste. I'd always sneak into the bathroom and eat it. I got too much fluoride and left spots on my teeth. The average person doesn't notice them until they get really really close to me (which isn't too many people). But I've lived with them my whole life and now I want to do something for me.

Good Question!

Hmmmm, that is a great idea. I have done it in the past, but it was never worth it to me because I tend to go out and buy what I want or I talk myself out of it because I am too stingy with my money. I love the idea of a charm bracelet. I just may have to look into that. Until I do this is what I came up with.

10 pounds- get my nails done. ( I have a gift certificate that I have been meaning to use since last summer. My reward will be the time for myself)

20 pounds- contacts ( I can never find the time to go to the Dr. to get them.)

30 pounds- go to a really nice salon to get my hair cut/colored

40-60 pounds I will come up with later. Who knows what I am going to want 5 months from now.

goal- vacation alone with my husband. I'd love a cruise, but I don't think I could be away from the kids that long. Even a nice long weekend would be nice. Maybe San Antonio, Tx where we spent our honeymoon.

This is becoming harder for me to do. I don't know what little things I can do. I already have my nails done, I shop for clothes as I lose weight so that my clothes won't make me look still huge. Hmm, I still need to think about this. Though for the final goal I am leaning towards buying myself a Dana Buchman outfit, which also means I need to start saving for that as well.
